Get ready to start your day aboard a sailboat sailing the waters of the Tagus across from Lisbon. During two hours you will have the opportunity to watch the city from another perspective, the same that previous generations of seafarers, sailors, fishermen or simple passengers have shared too. The estuary of the river is the same but the boats almost disappeared.

The city grew westward with the Discoveries and the great witnesses of that time stand there, near the banks of the River - the Commerce Square, the Ribeira das Naus old shipyard where the Caravelas were built, the Bélem Tower and the Jeronimos monastery.

At the disembarkment we will be prepared to pick you up and take you to the south bank of the Tagus, the region where we will spend the rest of the time.
We'll start by visiting the Cristo Rei shrine and viewpoint in Almada, from where you can admire the magnificent views over Lisbon and the entire mouth of the river to Cascais. Even the Serra de Sintra will be within reach of a photo.

We drive south to the Azeitão region on the northern hillside of the verdant Serra da Arrábida, a place of vineyards and wineries, where we will visit a palace once owned by King D. Manuel I, King of the Discoveries.

The palace, set in the midst of vast vineyards, was built in the 16th century. It was a recreational property of the Portuguese nobility and is enriched with countless works of art, Roman remains and a remarkable collection of Portuguese tiles.

But at first we will have a tasty fish lunch  in a local restaurant.

Before we return to Lisbon we still have the last experience of our tour, a wine tasting at "Quinta da Bacalhoa".
In this well known winery of Azeitão will be served three wines, one white, one red and one muscatel.
